Combiner - A device that permits combining of several signals into one output with a high degree of isolation between inputs. Usually used for combining outputs of processors and modulators.

Like the combiners that you see on this page, they can be 'passive' (non-amplified output), or 'active' (amplified output) with typically 8, 12, 16, 24, and even 32 input ports.
