Orlando, FL – November 2013 Multicom, Inc. is proud to announce that its TotalGUARDIAN Remote Headend Server has now been deployed in and declared essential in a wide variety of demanding installations including: university student housing, Multiple Dwelling Units (MDU), and hospitality venues including hotels and resorts.

The TotalGUARDIAN provides the capability to remotely maintain, reconfigure, and service a wide variety of video headends that have never had that capability AND to dramatically extend the life and capabilities of those legacy systems – all remotely controlled using a smartphone, tablet, or PC. This virtually eliminates expensive, time consuming truck rolls.

“The TotalGUARDIAN has saved our company time, truckrolls, and operating expense – we cannot live without it in all of our university housing developments” said Adam Szymkowiak, IQMachines, Inc.

The TotalGUARDIAN Remote Headend Server MTG-EL24 provides the user-friendly web control interface to monitor and control receivers, modulators, and other headend equipment using Ethernet, IR (infrared), and AC power via expansion units, and GPDUs. It also provides environmental monitoring and provides alerts, site network testing, local weather, and more.
