  • Sample Configuration 1 – 24 Receivers with 1 Receiver per MTG-GPDU Power Port

A single MTG-EL24 is controlling 24 receivers (DISH, DIRECTV or MPEG-4), by way of IR Blasters. The 24 receivers are plugged into three MTG-GPDUs, which are also being controlled by the MTG-EL24 via Ethernet cables.

In this scenario the MTG-EL24 can perform multiple tasks including the ability to reset any receiver channel via the IR port as well as the hard-reboot of any individual receiver via the MTG-GPDU.

  • Sample Configuration 2 – 24 Receivers with 3 Receivers per MTG-GPDU Power Port

A single MTG-EL24 is controlling 24 receivers (DISH, DIRECTV or MPEG-4), by way of IR Blasters. There are 3 receivers on each MTG-GPDU power port. This is the lowest cost configuration. However, when power cycling a single receiver the other two receivers on the same power port are also power cycled.

  • Sample Configuration 3 – 56 Receivers with 1 Receiver per MTG-GPDU Power Port

A single MTG-EL24 is controlling 24 receivers (DISH, DIRECTV or MPEG-4), by way of IR Blasters. There is 1 receiver on each MTG-GPDU power port as above in Configuration 1. In addition, the MTG-EL24 is controlling a single MTG-GIR32 and 4 more MTG-GPDU via its Ethernet ports. The MTG-GIR32 expansion unit is controlling 32 more receivers.
