Description

The FIBR/MIBR-S4A-860 fiber optic receivers provide a effective means of receiving broadband CATV signals over single mode optical fibers. The receivers have a frequency bandwidth of 45-860 MHz and accommodate a variety of different modulation formats such as AM/VSB, 8VSB, QAM, QPSK, etc. The receiver is packaged in a compact, rugged, metal, enclosure for either stand alone or MIRC rack chassis designs. The receiver is “universal” in that it can operate at both the 1310 nm and 1550 nm optical windows. In addition to the FIBT Series of transmitters, the FIBR has been designed to operate with the transmitters of many leading manufacturers. The receiver contains an LED status indicator that allow the link’s status to be quickly assessed locally.
