A drop equalizer will compensate for differential frequency losses across a length of cable by attenuating signal levels of lower frequencies until they equal signal levels of higher frequencies. Eagle offers two styles of drop equalizers with a variety of values.

Model EEQ will balance the forward and return paths, allowing the signal level of the return source to be increased relative to ingress levels, which improves system reliability.
