Description

Netceed’s MU1312 high-precision Mini Optical Power Meter is designed for use with an optical light source for performing optical loss measurements on fiber optic cables.

The Netceed multifunction mini MU1312 Optical Power Meter (OPM) and Visual Fault Locator (VFL) is a handheld optical power meter that also conveniently incorporates a laser-based Visual Fault Locator – all in a single handheld unit. This ergonomically designed instrument uses advanced technology for outstanding functionality and durability.

The OPM includes a variety of advanced features and user-selectable settings. It is used for optical signal power measurement at a variety of wavelengths from 850-1625nm. It can be used to inspect optical fiber and connectors for potential failures and issues when connected to an optical interface and/or with singlemode or multi-mode optical fiber. lt is an indispensable tool in fiber project installations, construction, fiber network maintenance, and for testing fusion or field-installed connectorized cables and optical components.

The MU1312 comes with 10, 20, or 30mW VFL, and in a Standard and High Power version (-50dBm ~ +30dBm).
