Description

The PLM55 is Pico Macom’s next generation version of its popular PCM55 modulator. The unit is a professional grade phase-locked loop, channelizedagile television modulator giving superb performance at an economical price. This modulator is used in lieu of the PCM55 in more heavily loaded 300MHz systems where greater frequency stability and higher adjacent channel performance is required. This modulator maintains a full 55dBmV output on channels 2 to 36 and 95 to 99 while accommodating HRC and IRC offset frequencies (54-300 MHz). Easy lab retuning enables inventory savings and less down time. The PLM55 is shipped with all internal adjustments preset. FCC Docket 21006 offsets are standard.
